Tour Itinerary

Day 01 : Dhaka City

Upon arrival in the morning at Dhaka airport meet and immediately transfer to hotel for refreshment. After refreshment start Dhaka city tour. Lunch will be served meanwhile. City tour we will try to cover Liberation war Museum, Lord Curzon hall (Office of the British vice Roy Lord Curzon) in Dhaka University campus, National Shahid Minar (Symbol of Bengali nationalism monument, Dhakeshwari Hindu Temple, Armanian Church (1781 A.D), Lalbagh Fort, Star Mosque, Ahsan Monzil Museum and Shadorghat the national waterfront terminal. Dinner will be offer in a local restaurant. Over night at Dhaka.

Day 02: Dhaka-Mainamati - Chittagong

Mainamati is known for the greatest assemblage of ancient Buddhist remains in Bangladesh. Excavations have exposed a large Buddhist monastery together with its central shrine and a wealth of material objects datable from the 7th to 12th centuries AD. Archaeological finds also clearly indicate that this was the cultural and political centre of ancient Vanga-Samatata (southeast Bengal).

Starting in the morning from Dhaka, you will arrive in Comilla after a 2-3 hour scenic road journey. Upon arrival and refreshments, a guided tour of the archaeological sites (Salban Vihara, Rupban Mura, Itakhola Mura, Mainamati Mound), the Mainamati museum and the Mainamati War Cemetery will com- mence. Lunch in a local restaurant.  After lunch start towards Kumira the world famous Ship Breaking yard. Upon arrival Kumira (Shandip Ghat) ride on an engine boat, cruise and taking picture from the wide range. After cruising back to Shandip Ghat disembark and resume our journey towards Chittagong. Upon arrival Chittagong check in at the hotel for overnight stay.   

Day 03: Chittagong-Bandarban

Early morning drive to Chittagong fishery ghat. One of the famous fish harbors where you can see hundreds boats coming and going off and fishermen unloading the fresh fish for treading, is amazing. After visit back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast checkout the hotel. Start towards Bandarban en-route visit Ethnological museum, Shrine of Hazrat Bayazid Bostami, the sanctuary dedicated to Bayazid Bostami, a famous Persian Sufi born in Bostam in Iran. The sacred area of the complex consists of a tomb with an ancient mosque and a large pond, considered a sacred place housing a large number of black-shelled turtles known as Bostami Turtle, locally called Mazari. Start again towards Bandarban one of the most colorful neighborhoods of the indigenous people. Almost 11 different tribes live there.. Its 03 hour drive. Upon arrival Bandarban check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.  (If time permits, we will try to visit Local Bazaar area)

Day 04: Bandarban-Cox’s Bazar

In the morning visit weekly tribal bazaar in the Marma tribal village (This tribal bazaar seats twice a week on Sunday and Wednesday). Many tribal people like Marma, Tripura, Murang , Chakma, Chak, Toynchanga Muru  come to this weekly bazaar from the deep hill forest for treading for their  family needs weekly  bazaar. After visit start towards Cox’s Bazar the tourist capital of Bangladesh. En-route visits a typical Buddhist village Ramu. Start again towards Cox’s Bazar. Check in at hotel. Overnight at Cox’s Bazar.

Day 05: Cox’s Bazar

Early morning visit one of the famous fish harbors at Fishery ghat. Hundreds of fishing boats coming back from the deep sea after fishing 15/20 days. Unload fish and start trading. After visiting, I back to the hotel for breakfast.  After breakfast transfer to the speed boat jetty, and ride on the speedboat to visit Maheshkhali Island. Explore the Island among visit Adinath Hindu temple, local dried fish area. Also meet the school children. Return to mainland. Late lunch to be served. After lunch explore the largest beach in the sea. Enjoy sunset at Inani Coral beach point in Cox's Bazar. Dinner and overnight stay at Cox’s Bazar.

Day 06: Cox’s Bazar-Dhaka-Barishal

After breakfast drive to domestic airport to fly Dhaka. It’s 01 hour 15 minute flight (Baggage allowance 20kg). Upon arrival Dhaka start for Dhaka city tour. Lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch start towards old Dhaka Sadarghat (the old river port of Dhaka), En-route visit the National Hindu Temple Dhakeshwari temple, the Armenian Church, the star Mosque (Tara Masjid), and walk in the narrow Hindu Street Shakhari Bazar till reach Sadarghat. Upon arrival Sadarghat boarding in a regular passenger ship for overnight journey in a first class cabin. (No attach bath in the vessel) Dinner and overnight journey on board. Next day early morning boat will be arrived at Barishal.

Day 07: Barishal

Once we arrive early in the morning and disembark from the ferry at Barisal, we will depart towards Banoripara (an hour drive).  Breakfast will be served on the way in a local restaurant / Packed breakfast to be serve. Upon arrival at Banoripara, cruise on the river and canals by motor boat to visit the villages through canals and rivers where the real village life is. Cruise to Boythaghata, one of the famous floating markets, where boats mainly trade vegetables and rice in the Canal/River. Afterwards, visit the floating wood market and the coir carpet production area in a village. Back to Barisal. In the evening visit Barisal down town area and will enjoy Rickshaw ride. Overnight at Barisal. 

Day 08: Barishal-Dhaka

After breakfast start towards Dhaka. En-route visit Brick factory , remote village. Afternoon upon arrival Dhaka check in at hotel for overnight stay.   

Day 09: Dhaka

Free time till departure. On time drop to airport to fly back to the destination of origin. Upon arrival at airport our services to be end.
